Here is some example code I use for removing items from memory.

For instance you have to unlink the object from the scene before you attempt to remove the datablock the object was using. Remove commands only work if the datablock has no users. I know there are much discussions about this problem but I can’t find a solution that works for me.īut nothing changed … I’m a little bit frustrated right now that there seems to be no easy way for a beginner like me.
